Kristen grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where her father is a home builder. Her father’s passion for building new family homes lead to many moves, a variety of property locations and design styles over the years. Therefore, Kristen has been surrounded by construction and design all of her life. She quickly developed a love for the entire process as well. This motivated her decision to move across the country for a college education at the nationally and internationally accredited Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. As an ASU graduate with an Associates Degree in Design as well as an Allied Member of The American Society of Interior Design Kristen began her career at Guided Home Design.
Throughout her career, Kristen has earned multiple Design Excellence Awards on behalf of ASID. With a strong eight years as an Interior Designer at Guided Home Design, as well as a co-owner of the company, she takes great pride in her work. She executes every project for their clients with passion as she loves what she does and most of all, truly enjoys seeing her clients light up when their space is brought to life.
While all of this is just faaaabulous, her husband Tyler is truly the wind beneath her wings. The end.
Maddie was born and raised in a small town in Southern Illinois. Eight years ago, she moved out west to attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University where she fell in love with the sky-high palm trees and sunshine so much that she decided to make Arizona her forever home! After working in the marketing industry for 2 years, she had a come-to-Jesus moment and decided to make a career transition and go back to school for her deep-rooted passion, Interior Design. She believes her eye for design at such an early age was inherited from her Mother who is naturally gifted in the field. Rather than playing outside with other kids as a child, Maddie was re-arranging furniture and experimenting with fabrics at a young age.
As an Interior Designer at Guided Home Design, impacting people’s lives is what really drives Maddie to design. She thinks that being able to create a space for clients where they spend majority of their lives and create lifelong memories is truly amazing!
